I’ve been at TMP since 2011, having previously been at Tribal and Kingsway. Prior to that I had a brief stint in publishing as a Production Controller and at university I studied Fine Art and trained to be a teacher!
The team works across a range of sectors and roles, finding solutions to those tricky recruitment problems. We get involved when clients want to find particular niche skills. That elusive, in-high-demand talent that isn’t necessarily looking for a job. We craft solutions that will highlight the things that make our clients special, and the reasons why those particularly talented individuals should come and work for them.
We use research based insights, and bring them to life through engaging creative ideas delivered in the right channels for active or passive audiences (or both). It’s all about the brilliant candidate engagement and experience. At the same time we make sure our clients always enjoy working with us too!
The best project I ever worked on at TMP was overseeing the development of the HS2 employer brand and new careers website. It’s an organisation at the very beginning of its journey, and to help kick it off was great!
A strategic problem solver with almost 20 years’ experience in HR and Resourcing, I bring a global perspective to talent acquisition and engagement, having worked in both the UK and the Asia Pacific region. I thrive on creating solutions that connect the talent agenda with business goals to drive high performance.
I lead an award-winning team responsible for delivering successful talent solutions results for clients across a range of sectors.
Deeply embedded in our client’s businesses, we all have a passion, energy and enthusiasm for helping them achieve their objectives. And we do it through collaboration and co-creation. Our approach is insight based, creatively courageous, digitally disruptive, inspired and strategically smart.
It starts by asking, “what’s the problem we need to solve?” Anything from shifting brand perceptions to finding and attracting niche skill sets, to reaching more diverse audiences and building graduate and apprentice talent pipelines.
We bring together a unique combination of expertise across creative, brand, insights, technology and psychology to create powerful, joined-up and innovative solutions across the entire employee lifecycle.
The best project I ever worked on at TMP was Virgin Money. A brilliant example of what can be achieved by blending the art of creativity and the science of psychology, to create an assessment approach that delivers an amazing candidate experience.
I lead the Communications and Resourcing teams, working with clients to develop compelling employer brand experiences across the employment lifecycle. We’re curious & creative and love getting to grips with talent challenges. We operate across all sectors and industries excelling in providing solutions to NHS Trusts and Local Government as well as corporate enterprises.
A multi-disciplinary team, we work with organisations going through change – or looking to improve their talent acquisition and candidate experience, whether in-house or RPO. Everything we do is anchored around the employer brand – and focused on delivering a differentiated candidate journey.
Examples of our work include:
The best project I ever worked on at TMP was a project with a pretty high impact! Recruiting for a UK post-Brexit Civil Service – attracting talent into specialist and volume roles.
I’ve led TMP’s Finance function since 2015, having gained a range of experience in other roles. I particularly enjoy the variety of projects I’m involved with here, as well as the opportunity to help shape our commercial agenda.
The team’s responsibilities are wide ranging and include billings & collections, the payment of suppliers, payroll, financial reporting and the management of our banking relationships.
Our finance & accounting professionals measure and accurately report on the profitability of the services we provide, as well as partnering with our teams to facilitate decisions around forecasting, recoverability and pricing.
Our credit control and payables teams work with front office to ensure clients are billed correctly and accurately for work undertaken and that our third party suppliers are reimbursed in a timely manner, helping to ensure the smooth and seamless delivery of our services.
After many years of working in volume and graduate hiring, I now help develop our candidate sourcing capabilities and lead a team of resourcing professionals that support clients to identify, engage and recruit the most talented individuals.
Most of our clients are looking for help in two areas.
Either they want to recruit into business critical vacancies, which is achieved by using a mixture of direct sourcing/headhunting and social media promotion. Or, they’re seeking an external perspective on labour market conditions; achieved through researching target companies and competitors to produce insight and/or talent pipelines for the client and its hiring community.
My team is an enthusiastic group of Resourcing professionals, motivated by the quality of the talent they engage rather than the normal motivations of many other recruiters. Immersing ourselves in our clients’ employer brands, we make sure we always lead with an employer brand-based conversation. This creates engagement, which becomes activation into an application.
The best project I ever worked on at TMP was helping the Parlimentary Digital Service in the implementation and delivery of a project based RPO to recruit 150 technology & digital professionals.
I’ve worked in three – yup, three – different departments in TMP since joining all the way back in 2002. Finally I found the team I’d call home in 2005, and I now head up Paid Media and Performance.
Our remit includes media planning and buying, CM/MI, paid search and social. And we work across all TMP clients, ranging from small campaigns to year-long bulk buys. So I’m rarely bored!
I work closely with the measurement and insight teams. The upshot being that I have the solid understanding of conversion rates and trend metrics to evaluate campaigns analytically. And you’ll find me getting stuck into contract negotiations and leading training.
I’m proud to say that after years of working on private and public sector clients I’ve picked up a wealth of knowledge and built up strong relationships with clients and media companies alike. For our clients, that means I can negotiate excellent discounts and ROI for their campaigns and get the excellent hire results they’re looking for.
I started out at Hill+Knowlton Strategies, working on corporate PR and communications. Moving into recruitment and employer branding, I was a founding member of the London office, of what is now Beattie Communications. I then headed up corporate recruitment at a specialist PR search and selection firm, focusing on Professional Services and working with clients such as Deloitte, Freshfields and PA Consulting.
My role at TMP enables me to combine my varied experience and do what I enjoy most – consulting for clients on national and international projects. My team is focused on providing actionable insight that enables clients to make smart investments. My client experience spans the private and public sectors, and ranges from The AA and AutoTrader through to Sainsbury’s. And no matter what their area, I love helping clients to understand, articulate – and measure – what makes them unique.
